Annual Meeting and Tray Bakes
There were so many cakes brought for the tray bake competition that it was impossible for members to eat enough to judge them properly!!! Thanks to all who made the tray bakes. They were super and very much enjoyed by the members.

January Meeting 2020
"There'll never be another you"
Paul Newsham gave us a talk on biometrics. He told us that all finger prints are unique, each finger and thumb, even in twins. Did you know that we have individual ear prints? Hence the name of the talk-there'll never be another you!

February Meeting 2020
We had an amusing talk from Paula Cornwell who, dressed as Mrs Bruce, a lady from the 1920's, talked us through how ladies drove cars in 1928. Not quite as it is today.
Our meeting on Wednesday 18th March 2020 was to go ahead although not quite as normal.
However, after the government's advice on the 16th "to avoid non-essential contact with others" we decided we had no choice but to cancel the meeting altogether.
The "Group Meeting" that was due to be held in April has been postponed until further notice.
We will wait until the government's advice to avoid social contact (to reduce the spread of the virus) is eased and the high risk groups no longer have to protect themselves by keeping indoors (the garden is allowed and a walk on your own for exercise). When this time arrives we will be starting our meetings again. The programme may be modified. As we missed our annual meeting we have not yet published our new programme! We will probably hold the annual meeting in September but that is not definite yet.
