Darts Team
Our home venue is now the Sherwood Ranger for practice sessions and home matches. Away matches are around the County in the WI league.
Our team has had some very successful years in the past, being runners up in the league one season.
Report from the past:
We had a really good time at the darts. To say how nervous we were before hand. We thought there would be an audience but it was just the teams playing. We were so shocked and stunned to be in the final we were very laid back and were laughing and joking whilst the others were all very serious. A couple of teams had uniforms and the team that won practice very regularly, where as we tend to practice for the 5 minutes before each match, so you can imagine our surprise and delight when we came second !!!!!!!. We then had a raffle and we won 4 of the prizes, a bit embarrassing really but hey ho. We really had a very enjoyable evening and would love to take part again next year. Then to cap the evening Heather and June turned "car jackers" trying to get into a 4x4 thinking it was Alison's, which was actually parked much further up the car park. Roll on Autumn!!!!
